Going back to work/getting LO to nap at my mums
« on: September 08, 2005, 11:07:45 am »
Ok i go back to work in two weeks, its only 3 days a week but it is all day so my mums gonna take care of my DS.  She knows how i want him to go to sleep (if she had her way she would rock with a dummy or take out in pram) - so weve bought a travel cot and a blackout blind but im worried - will he know, will he notice hes not in his room?  My worry is he will refuse to nap and then it will mess all my hard work up  :?

Just take something that smells like home and feels like what he sleeps on.  We would wash a blanket for Isom, let him sleep on it a couple times before he went to G-ma's and take it with us.  It makes them feel more comfortable.  After a while, you won't even need it.  Isom will sleep at G-ma's and at daycare with no problem.
