Traci, we keep popping up on the same forums!
My activity is usually something like this.
DS wakes up, cuddles, maybe a story, feed if it's time for one (this only takes 15 mins max), if not time for feed then Jolly Jumper for about 15 mins. Not sure if JJ is an international toy, but if it is and you haven't got one, you should get one! Or by one over the internet from NZ. They hang of a door frame and they're in a seated harness and they jump and jump and laugh! Anyway, after that if I haven't fed, I'll do that next. If he fed first, I'll do more upright time and leave JJ about 30 mins. DS sits up, so we'll do floor sitting up time with toys, then after a while lie down as I'm trying to get him rolling (goodness knows why? ) nappy free time. This all probably takes me up to about an hour. I may then put him in his high chair with a toy while he watches me do stuff in the kitchen. This lasts about 20 mins max. More floor time for a few mins, then within about 20 mins of bed time it's another story or 2, a couple of songs, walking around the house or outside. 5 mins before bedtime, or when there's definitely a grizzle, we go into his room singing "twinkle twinkle little star", close the curtains, cuddles while I sing for a couple of mins only, lay him in bed, wrap him up, kisses then I leave him. I have a music box which plays classical music for 15 mins. Sometimes I use this, but not always. Usually he makes a few noises, maybe a minute of gentle crying, then just moaning noises. Within 5-10 mins he's quiet/asleep.
Sorry it's a little long, but I thought I'd give you a typical run down. In saying that, with friends across the road with a couple of lo's we often go over there for about an hour of awake time, but I'm home for the last 15-20 mins awake time. We also go out for a walk to the mailbox with ds in his buggy/pushchair. This is about 10 mins slow walk.
Afternoon awake time which can potentially last 4 hours is like this to begin with, then we usually add in a walk, baby mozart video, lots more cuddles, more floor time and JJ a couple of times. I do try to keep the activities more low key as time ticks by. Then 45 mins before bed is bath time which he loves, apart from the dressing bit, cuddles while reading 1 story, b/feed in his room, low light, then bed. He goes down awake, but only just. His bed time is currently 7pm which is working really well.
There you go, our typical day. I've also learnt if we need to go to town 30 mins drive away, to do it after his early afternoon nap if possible. That way he's getting at least 2 good naps hopefully in the day, and a nap in the car on the way home.
So it doesn't look much different from what you've said about your day I don't think. But maybe there's something in there for you. If you want to feel free to PM me and we can talk further.
