Starting Solids knocks Routine on the head

I've only done 3 x days of 2 x teaspoons of baby rice, but boy does it knock Rose's routine right out. I have to be very creative with feed times and almost guess how hungry she'll be. She's also not sleeping too well at the mo (during the day) and light sleeping at night (one of the signs that she was ready) so it seems like my sweetheart is a completely different baby at the mo!

Awww, poor baby. Sorry your having trouble. Just keep trying.

One thing though - I found ds to be very intolerant of baby rice (it caused him pain, and no chance of sleep). I gave up on that, and am doing fruit and veg instead - they might be better for her? BTW pears seem to be the favourite, and are most easily digested.

Hang in there!

I've frozen a load of 'ice cube' carrots ready for the end of the week. Rose seems ok with baby rice, I just hope she likes the carrots. They're organic and very sweet xx
