How to get A after E with a vomitty DD?
« on: September 12, 2005, 11:20:34 am »
I have a 3wk DD who is a textbook/touchy.  We have been doing 3hr EASY for almost a week but can't get it straight.  She is a very vomitty/reflux/colicky baby and so she can't do A after E or she brings back her meal.  so how do I work EASY with nappy changes and bathtime?

I have found the only way to keep the food down and so keep her calm and then get her to nap/sleep is to A then E then a little gentle A and then S.

I would really appreciate some advice, thanks

at three weeks i would say go with what is working.. if that is how she does best to keep her food down then that is what you need to do..i would say at this point just try not to get into the habbit of feeding to sleep(sounds like you arent)

when she gets a bit older you can alter it a bit so she is on easy.. have you talked to the doctor about the spit up/reflux-- maybe if she is on meds she will be able to keep her food down a bit more

sounds like you are doing great :D  :D  :D
