my son hated baths at first and after miserable bathing sessions we realised it was too cold. Could you bathe with him and make him feel more secure?? Also bathing on an empty tummy or when really tired is usually spells trouble. keep his head clear of the water and dry so he doesn't get too cold and wrap him up well after and away from draughts. hope it helps x

How do you bath him, I mean do you hold him, does he have a foam seat thing?

Ditto on the warmer water thing!  Once we made the water much warmer (almost as warm as I'd like it!), she started loving the bath.  And it's key to do it before she's overtired.

the safer bather did wonders for ours - it surrounds her in warmth w/o drowning her.
