Hour going back
« on: September 14, 2005, 14:02:55 pm »
I'm beginning to panick.
Can anyone tell me what to do when the hour goes back??

Sarah finally in EASY schedule and pretty much sleeping through the night and is 5 months.

When the hour goes back, she's obviously not going to know that and will want to go down at her normal body clock time and get up then too.  At the minute we're lucky if she stays until 6 am, I really couldn't take 5 am and earlier.

I was thinking of maybe trying it in 15 minute notches and see how it goes.
Has anyone any experience of dealing with this?

Whose idea was it to put the clock forward and back anyway???

i think it depends on the type of baby you have.  my #1 was textbook, and i just kept her up an hour later that first night (she was 5 months at the time) and she was fine.  i'd bed you could do it with an angel baby too.

#2 is touchy and i'm going to bet we'll have to do it more slowly - probably in 20-30 increments.  though he'll be 10 months at that point, so i may just try & adjust him in a couple days' time.

i think i always worry more than i need to, cause it always seems to end up fine!
