How long do i leave my daughter to cry?
« on: September 15, 2005, 11:06:58 am »
I cant possible take another week of sleepless nights. My daughter is 14 months old and will only sleep with a dummy, bottle and me present in the nursery.

I want to elimanate her dummy now so she can settle herself at night time as im constantly up putting the dummy back in and settling her back to sleep.

So whats best practice?

Do i stay in the nursery with her and keep laying her back in her cot when she stands or leave the room?

Im really not looking forward to doing this but feel i have no other option now. Its getting me really down now.

Look forward to hearing from someone soon
