Hi Edi:

Have you tried just giving her the food directly onto her high chair tray??  Does she eat lumpy / chunked food yet?  Even if she is still on mashed, you can use that as a finger food too.

Try cutting up canned fruits (they are softer), cooked potato, carrotts, turnip, etc either chunked small or smashed ... anything you eat.  Just put them onto the tray in front of her.

DS refuses to eat anything from a spoon except is infant cereal.

HTH and good luck :D  :D

Our ds went through a similar phase at that age.  It lasted a while but passed.  Keeping trying, but don't worry too much she'll eat when ready.  As long as she is healthy you are doing a good job! :D  Our ds liked to eat from a child size fork. Put the fruit chunk on it, he felt like a grown up.  Slippery stuff was hard to pick up but easier on the fork.
