Consistant Amount of Formula

Hello...I just started EASY and have so many questions, but I guess most important is: Do your babies have the same amount of ounces at each feeding?

I appreciate your replies!

Consistant Amount of Formula

olivia is now 7 months old today and has always been inconsistent in her amounts - they can vary from feed to feed and / or day to day.  i know it was a waste but we just prepared what her average was at each stage (we started bottle feeding exclusively from 3 mo) and just took it from there.  if we prepared 7 oz bottles (200ml) and she seemed to be draining it we topped it up and prepared 8 oz next time.  a lot of the time we just poured unused formula dwn the drain as we do not believe in re-using formula - especially in first 6 mo.

right now her feeds range from 150ml (6 oz) to 270ml (8-9 oz) and the dream feed can really range (70 ml (3 oz) - 270ml (8-9 oz)

how old is your baby?  are you concerned about her intake?

Thanks for your reply!  I am not concerned with her intake for health reasons as much as I'd like for her to be getting enough to sleep through the night.  She is 5 weeks old, so we've definitely got some time for that to happen yet.

Thanks, again!
