Traveling with a child with food allergy
« on: September 20, 2005, 19:23:50 pm »
We're about to leave for 2 weeks of traveling with a toddler.  :?   My little guy is allergic to dairy.  He drinks soy milk, eats soy yogurt, etc.  We are planning on bringing a cooler with his special food in it, but sometimes we run out, or can't find a grocery store to restock.

I rarely see soy milk at gas stations and you can't order a carton of soy milk at McDonalds!  Does any one else have a child with this allergy?  Do you have any secrets for finding soy milk on the road???

I suppose the worst case scenario is that he drinks water for a day or two....

I actually just read a post that you can get a box of soy milk (must be in powdered form) and then just add water when you need it!!

Does that help?
