waking in the night
« on: September 21, 2005, 09:47:41 am »
My daughter is 5 months old , for about 6 weeks she slept from 8pm until 6am but the last five weeks she has broken that routine for no apparant reason. She goes asleep about 7.30pm she will cry for her soother about 3-4 times between this time and 10pm. I dont hear a sound then until about 2/3am. she has lost the soother again . this will be constant until about 4.30/5am when she wants a feed. she'll then happilty go back asleep until about 7/7.30am.
She usually falls asleep at night while i'm feeding her, if not she'll go down in her cot with her soother and go asleep on her own . its the waking up in the night is the night mare.

Pls has any one got an suggestions??

I think it is probably time to wean the soother, if she goes  to sleep at the beginning of the night with it & happily goes back to sleep with it, then I'm afraid it has become a prop. There are some great suggestions on the props board on how people weaned their lo's of the soother
