4 hour sleep schedule
« on: September 21, 2005, 11:28:24 am »
We are trying to put our 5 month old on the 4 hour sleep schedule in Tracy's book. He does well with the feeding part but usually wakes up early from his night sleep.  If he is talking to himself when he wakes up do we still try to put him back to sleep or do we leave him?  If we leave him, do we now adjust his feed and nap times to the time he woke up or do we try to put him back on Tracy's schedule?

hi there,

i would never go in if they wake up happy at night.  sometimes if left to their own devices, they drift right off back to sleep!

how is your lo napping during the day?

if he's doing okay with the feeding, it may just be that he's up for a little bit before eating - kind of SAEASY.... you just really want to avoid the feeding-to-sleep association.
