Dropping third nap at 5 months?
« on: September 21, 2005, 21:56:59 pm »
Over the past week my five month old has been fighting her third catnap. She genuinely doesn't seem tired even though it means she's now awake 4 hours before bed time. Is this OK for a five month old? I spent an hour tonight trying to get her to sleep for her final nap, but she wasn't having any of it. She wasn't even crying, just lying there, giggling and staring at me.  I took her downstairs and she happily played for another two hours.

If this continues then i would start extending A time between her naps, as 4hrs is a long time for 5mos.

See this post i just responded to w/ a similar question:

Hope this helps.
