9 month old stuck in crib and waking
« on: September 26, 2005, 16:42:39 pm »
Hi,

My lo is 9 months old and we have recently found the BW and have had great success.  We have gone from night wakings every 1 to 3 hours to sleeping from 7:30pm to 7am, but, she just starting crawling last week and is waking up frequently in the night because she has wedged herself in the top corner of the crib.  Any suggestions or will this pass in time?

Thank you!

This happened with my ds as well right around the same age.  Usually he would cry out in his sleep because he was stuck so we would go in and put him back in the middle of the crib and cover him back up.  If we were quick he didn't even fully wake.  Not sure how long it went on but eventually he just stopped doing it.

Katie used to do that too - I would hear thudding in the night and then she would cry - To be honest she just sort of grew out of it once she was even more mobile ( Plus I did resort to using a cot bumper - but i dont think they advise you do use them these days??)
