Hi, you mums are all so helpful, you've answered some questions on one of my threads. Anyway.... here's an idea which may or may not help prevent the rolling. Daniel sleeps in a sleeping bag with arm holes. (like a singlet top but with a big long bottom on it that he is zipped into) Do you know the type? He doesn't roll normally as yet, so I can't say for sure, but for the life of me, I don't see how he will be able to in the bag. It's quite wide and so when the sheets are tucked down around him too it would make it quite tricky to roll over. Perhaps something like this may help.
The other thing to look at, is like I'm discovering with Daniel, is maybe he's not ready to go to sleep when you put him down which is why he's playing? At least he's happy, not like my screaming baby!! I do have a friend who's baby would sometimes play in the cot for an hour before dropping off to sleep though.
Daniel is a back sleeper by the way, always has been, so maybe Micah wants to join the rest of the back sleepers. Just put him down on his back and see what happens. Or try wrapping/swaddling him even if it's just chest down with arms out as this may help calm him.
Just some random ideas for you to try. Sometimes it's easier offering advice to other people that it is solving my own problems.
