Cluster feeding and EASY (need clarification)
« on: September 29, 2005, 20:34:29 pm »
My 9 week old DS is on a 3 hour EASY schedule and doing pretty well.  As far as an evening schedule, he usually wakes from a nap at  6pm, eats, and then is back to bed by 7:30-8.  When cluster feeding, do I bf at 6, have activity, then bf again at 8, then put him to sleep?  Do I wait for him to wake for the next feed, or dream feed at 10pm?  Is that too early for a dreamfeed?  I am a little sleep deprived, so I guess I need it spelled out for me!!!   Thanks!!

Yep, this sounds good. You may need to tweek the dreamfeed time to get him in a lighter stage of sleep. Sometimes they don't latch on if they are too far gone. Although, if he is sleeping long stretches at night you don't have to do a dreamfeed, you could just go to bed at 9pm and wake with him when he does.
