Does teething get easier?

My dd is going through a lot with teething at the moment - 4 wks ago it started and coincided with a cold so I didn't realise it was teething until the little thing poked out - then it all made sense!  After that we had a couple of good nights and now it seems to be upon us again and i think it is the second one (couldn't they have come in together!? :roll: )

Anyway I had heard that it is the molars that cause the most problems - is this true?  Are we likely to be going through this on and off for months to come or do they kind of get used to it? (please say they do...!)  I can't seem to get any effective pain relief here

We found the first 2 were the worst until it got to eye teeth they were worse than the first molars, the 2nd molars which we are getting now seem to give us really bad days & then spells with nothing.
freezing some orange & wrapping it in a handkerchief was a good trick for my ds#1.
