Hi, wake to sleep is when you go in and rouse the baby, without waking them, ( I think 5 -10 mins, but check this) before they are due to wake. They should then resettle themselves and go into the next sleep cycle. It's just another method of sleep training. I have found that it takes a bit of practise to get the timing right.

You disturb them about an hour before their usual wake time and then let them go back to sleep.  When I did it I changed dd's nappy when she was still in the cot. She moaned and turned over (not v. helpfully!!) but didnt wake up fully. It's recommended to do it for 3 nights but it can work in 1. The method is in the last book.
