4 hour easy when starting day at 6am?????
« on: October 09, 2005, 18:32:20 pm »
How do you do 4 hr easy if ds wakes at 6am?

6am feed
8am-10am sleep 2 hrs

10am feed
12am-2pm sleep 2 hrs

2pm feed
4pm???? sleep for how long??
obviusly he cant sleep for another 2 hours can he?? well he could but this would be too much sleep wouldnt it?? it would be a total of 6 hours for the day , even if i just let him have a 45-1hr catnap that would mean he would be awake from 5ish until 7pm bedtime and he would be very tired i would imagine.

Please anyone with a four month old on four hr easy please share your schedules with me,im just scared that he is sleeping too much in the day and this could be the cause of his nightwakings and early morning starts. I am desperte to get back to 7am-7pm (dream at 10.30pm)routine that he was on for weeks.

I know that the more rested he is the easier he falls asleep but how much is too much?

Hi Kelly!!  :D

Don't know if this helps at all, but at 4 mos, Zoe was able to go 2 hours  between 5-7.  Sometimes it got a little tricky but for the most part it went well.  If she is totally unbearable I would put her down 15 minutes early.   Actually, even last night at 9.5months, I had to put her down at 6:30
