8 Mth old waking twice in night - exhausted and grumpy mum
« on: October 12, 2005, 20:46:16 pm »
Hi

My beautiful and very happy little boy has been waking regularly at 10.30pm and then 5.30pm (I can set a clock to it) every night.  It is becoming exhausting and I am finding myself getting grumpy with him and DH.  I am about to do the Wake/Sleep thing tonight and was just wondering whether, if I do it for the 10.30 one will it also sort out the 5.30 one?  Or am I going to have to set the clock for 4.30am as well :?:

Noah is on a regular EASY schedule and was what I thought a Textbook/Angel baby.

Also, when my son wakes at 10.30pm he doesn't just babble first and then cry, he wakes up screaming.  Any ideas if this is normal or what could be wrong?

Thanks
Lea

Hi

Ooops, haven't been able to get back on until now.  My son's schedule is as follows:

7.30am - wake up
8.00am - bottle
Activity time
9.00am - nap
11 - 11.30am - wake up
12.00pm - solids
12.30pm - bottle
1.00 - 1.30pm - nap
3.00 - 3.30pm - wake up
4.00pm - solids
4.30pm - bottle
5.45pm - bath
6.30pm - last bottle
7.00pm - bed

And in between he plays and we go out.

He then wakes at 11.00pm and then also approximately 4.30am (yawn).  I really want to know how to tackle this as it is driving me insane.  He slept through from 7 weeks till about 3 1/2 months when he got teeth.  And since then it has been a raft of things, excema more teething, chest infections.

I would love to know what to do.

Thanks
Lea
