See...I'm back already!
Real quick, I got some one piece door stops from the One Step Ahead catalog.  Our were so old we didn't even have the rubber part and they were rusty metal.  You never notice these things when house shopping, huh?   :)
Anyway, they were pretty cheap and all one piece so nothing will pop off.  Here's a link:

Really must go finish packing and baking.  Bye, girls!!!

Kate-glad you mentioned One Step Ahead because it reminded me:
yesterday in my baby dance class a lo 4 days older than Taylor was having a ball teething on this clear plastic thing???  So I asked his mom and she said it was his toothbrush from one step ahead.  I am going to order one right away.

Also, we have the star teether as well and it is awesome.  It buzzes but unlike a lot of other teethers out there that they have to bite down on really hard to buzz, this is very easy.

Enjoy!

BTW, last night I tried the olive oil on Taylor's cradle cap.  Added a little salt and pepper, a clove of garlic and it worked marvelously!  Thanks for those of you that recommended it!   :D

Hi Andrea, the plastic tooth brush  works great. We have one for Brady, there is a store near me that sells them as well. And he just loves chewing away on it...I highly recommend it.

kate-thanks for the link for the doorstops!

hannah-so totally cute.  I've got to buy a darn tub plug then cole can finally start having more fun in the bath.  he's still all squished into his baby tub

I have just pm'd a bunch of people for mail/email addresses.  I realize some people may not wish to participate and that is fine.  Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware.  I apologize in advance for the curt manner of the emails...there were quite a few to do.  I've received about 10 so far.  YAY! I hope people don't mind me giving out their email addresses???  I was putting them on the sheet as well.

It's so crazy you guys are talking about dental hygiene!!  There was a dental health nurse at school last night and she put the fear of god into everyone regarding brushing your lo's teeth.
She said 26% of children's teeth will rot out before they are 5 years old in North America regardless of demographics. It's a combination of the foods/liquids we give and not taking care of their teeth.  Even with 2 baby teeth they recommend brushing twice a day with floride toothpast.
I was just using his washcloth every morning.  Anyone else brushing?

Poor Sol had the hardest day yesterday.  4 shots at the doctors AND he took a tumble and smacked his eye on my friends coffee table.  I thought he'd have this huge black eye cause it started swelling instantly.  It looks ok now but he kinda looked like Rocky.  8) Wouldn't let me out of his sight all day.

Traci - love, love, LOVED the pics.  That's something that looks great in your house and could make a great gift

Cathy - Here it's football (Grey Cup) and Hockey with a little Nascar during the commercials.  People used to hate watching hockey with me cause i'd always complain the ice was too bright!  I prefer the soccer pitch but I've learned to keep my mouth shut.

I love all the business ideas!  Most of my and DH family our entrepreneurs.  I ran two summer programs for kids before DS came along.  Now I have to change course so I'm going to try and open a Childcare Facility and still run the camps in the summer.  I may be kiddin myself but aim high, right!

Roz, I just remembered you are another one we haven't seen a pic of.
Girls I will definitly put a pic up of me dolled up for work. Getting a little nervous. I have gone out and treated myself to new clothes, I had to really, too many years of wearing a uniform left me without dress clothes.
Just a quick thought, would you girls mind if my "nanny" put some posts on here, I metioned it to her the other day incase she has some questions about Riley's routine.
K...that is my allotment for now.

Ankie, do you have a "Hands free" pumping dealee??
I don't but I usually manage to pump with one hand at least...leaving one free for a little typing, turning pages of a book...or what have you.
Anyhow, you are a teacher...you know the magic word...Multi task! :)
Good luck.

Roz...hugs to sol. Poor little guy.  My word on the teeth brushing thing!!!  Geez, I thought I was doing good because I had given her the toothbrush to play with on occasion.  I can't believe they reccommend toothpaste for los!  Anyhow, I am hoping she got dh's teeth....no cavities...never sees a dentist.  We won't even talk about my dental issues!

I know about the picture!  I've been nagging DH to fix our photoshop so I can get Sol and me up there.  I feel so mysterious

No prob with the nanny.  You'll have to give her a code word so we know it's her posting.  :)

haha girls, thanks for the help with the nanny...I think it has become a prerequisite (sp???) for people to post on here that they have to put a pic up...oh boy! I think she will be quite addicted to this thread. She knows how much fun we have so she is excited to "meet" you girls.
I will let her know to tell you girls it is her when she posts.
k....finally I have time to spend with Jay now that Riley is in bed, so far today she like to have a 3hr A time and 1/2 S time, we are on our second nap now, so I have everything crossed hoping she makes it to the 1hr mark.
Just wondering who is chatting tonight??? I will try to make it, but right now I am tempted to knock my butt out with nyquil and crash to get rid of whatever the heck I have.
I had to add this too, I think I have in the least fractured my left pinky toe today, just to make the whole day perfect eh! (where is that sarcasm emoticon when you need it). Iwas getting up after getting Riley settled this morning and we have one of those fisher price infant to toddler rockers, well the support stand was out and I smashed my toe on it as I got up.
Oh, I want to post some pics of Jay later for you ladies, just to show you all how much fun it can be as they grow up.
Right, I think I have hit the allotment for a post for now...TaTa
