A question on naps
« on: October 18, 2005, 15:13:35 pm »
My lo is 17 weeks.  Sometimes she will go a couple of days with good naps.  More often than not she naps 45 mins, struggles out of swaddling, (she is really good at it now).  Sometimes she crys, other times she doesn't.  Do I go in an reswaddle her is she doesn't cry, or leave her.  Sometimes she will go back to sleep, but most of the time she doesn't and then thats the next feed time.  I am transitioning her on to 4 hrs (with some difficulty).

if she's not crying i wouldn't go in.  she may be starting to figure out how to soothe herself.

if you are having that much difficulty transitioning to a 4-hr EASY, you may want to wait a bit & try maybe a 3.5 hr for now.  it may be easier on you both.
