When is the best time to wean off the swaddle? Or how can I tell my baby is ready? Also, how should I wean off the swaddle? Should I start with only one arm out? Should I start with only one nap? Any suggestions are appreciated.

my kids were ready to quit when they could break out of it and not care - as in not wake up screaming cause they're unwrapped.
once they were doing that pretty reliably (6-7 months) i just quit cold turkey.
