Starting to wake up at night

Help!!!  My daughter sleeps great for her naps during the day and for the first week of her life  ( she is 2 weeks now)  she was sleeping 4 - 5 hours at night.  Now she is sleeping 1-2 hours at night but still sleeping good during the day.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Also  She is in a playpen for her naps and a bassient in our room at night.  Thanks!!

Probably going through her first growth spurt. If you are bf offer her more frequently  in the day or if bottle, give her a bit more too

I have one more question.  When I put her in her crib for a nap she just lays there quiet sometimes she puts herself to sleep and other times she is still awake 15 minutes later.  Do I leave her alone or do I help her to fall asleep?

Unless she is crying Leave her be... my 5mo has been known to lie awake & happy from 5am-8am mostly he just does it 7-8am, but he also can be lying happily for almost 1/2 hour before going off to sleep. Just shows they know how to enjoy their own company... she will get the sleep she needs or tell you she needs help by crying
