On one nap now, what's the schedule?
« on: October 21, 2005, 01:34:33 am »
Hi everyone,

My dd is almost 17mths old and recently moved to one nap. At the moment she wakes up around 6am, has breakfast at 7am, lunch at 11.30 and nap at 1pm. She'll nap for 1hr30mins to 2hrs so she's up around 3pm, has dinner around 6pm and asleep by 8pm.

However since the one nap, she's been really tired, hence grumpy, during lunch and dinner. Is she napping & sleeping too late? Should I give her an earlier nap & give her lunch after. This would mean 6hrs of awake time before 8pm bedtime.

Can someone share with me their sleep & meal times?

Thanks!
Cheers,

Catharine

we found we had to make an earlier bed time for about 3-4 months after we shifted to one nap & then it has slowly moved a bit later... it had the added benefit that it also seemed to result in a later wakeup, so we went from 8-6 with 2 naps to 7-7 with one nap for about 3 months... now it is more like 7.30- 6.30 with one nap, but ds is 27mo
