My lo is 17 weeks, she used to stay awake for 1.30 to 1.45, but recently she yawns and fusses to go to bed after 1hr - 1.15.  I am currently doing a 3.5 EASY.  As she is sleeping for 45 mins and restless the rest of the nap, should I be putting her on to the 3hr EASY until she can stay awake at least for 1.30hr - 1.45hr?  I am so confused?

Her nightime has been affected as she sleeps so much during the day.

Her schedule is this

7am  feed
8.40  sleep
10.30 feed
11.45 sleep
2pm feed
3.30 - 3.45 sleep
5.15 feed
6.15 bath
6.45 feed to get her calories up
7.05pm bed
10.30 df
3.30am onwards she wakes up at least 3 times but doesn't want a feed

Hi Corrina, my lo didn't start sleeping thru the night till 6 months.  She also didn't want feeds at night and all I had to do was pat her a couple times and she's go back to sleep.  In retrospect I think part of the problem was the dreamfeed timing.  When I started moving it earlier in 15 mins increments she seemed to sleep better at night.

It sounds like your not doing any accidental parenting because her naps are so good.  What do you do when she wakes at night?

Your routine looks great to me.  I did a 3.5 hour easy for a long time.  You could try moving her bedtime a 1/2 hour earlier.

Good luck Tarri

I don't do anything with her at night, except if she gets out of swaddle, I reswaddle.  Don't talk to her just put her straight back to bed.  We had a good night last night though she only woke twice, crying for her dummy, I put it back in and she went off to sleep.  Her naps are pretty good for the most part, but she wakes after 45 mins and I try and put her back to sleep, sometimes I'm successful most times I'm not, so we just come through to our bedroom and lay quitely until her next feed time.
