Great new Recipe for 6 month
« on: October 23, 2005, 04:27:49 am »
Hi Just thought I'd share what I have been preparing for my 6 month old DD
Tried this today
Watermelon + rockmelon pureed
add some rice cereal to thicken up then 1-2 tsp of baby yogurt. It was delicious and something a little different.
I love experimenting with different fruits and veg.She also loves sweet corn mixed in with her veg. I make sure it is pureed and sieved very well although I have read that you should hold off till they are a bit older.
I have just introduced some infant cheese just a small amount in her veg.

I was going to ask how your lo did with this?  I believe we are told to hold off until after 1 yr. for melon in the US.  But it's so interesting to see what others do around the world.
