Ever feed at night?
« on: October 24, 2005, 15:57:18 pm »
I am using Tracy's book to put my four month old on EASY.  In the book, she sayd to do PU/PD whenever they wake up at night.  In one example, the baby wakes at 1 and then again at 5:30, and she does PU/PD.

Won't my baby be hungry by 5:30 if I haven't fed her since the dream feed at 11:00?  Do you just let her be hungry for one night so she eats more the next day and gets on "track" or is that too mean??

Just a little confused...

I'd look at her night wakings and choose which to feed.  At 4 months, you'll probably still do 2 night feedings (including a dreamfeed if you keep it), so if she's up every 3 hours only feed her at the middle waking.  I think you're right about 11-5:30 being a long time, and hopefully with a feed at 4 she'll sleep in longer too!
