How do you keep baby warm enough at night?

We just had our first chilly spell, and I only use pj's and the cotton Halo sleep Sac, but switched to the fleece one last night. But still not sure if not warm enough. How do you moms in colder climates deal with this?

Does your lo wake at night?  If not, I would probably say she's warm enough.  You'll soon know if she's not!

We use a diaper shirt plus a fleece sleeper for dd.  We also have a small programable heater in her room.  It only turns on when the temp in her room falls below 19 degrees and turns off when it reaches 21 degree.  We have it facing away from the crib.  HTH

This might be a silly question, but what's a diaper shirt?

It's a onesie but we call it a diaper shirt here.  I guess that for you the optimal temp for sleeping is between 68 - 70 degrees F.  Forgot that you're in the US.

What I do every year for both my kids is line their matress with a heavy fleece sheet, I just put it over their fitted sheet and tuck it in real well.  That way even if they kick the blankets off the top they are still warm and cozy underneath.  Makes a big difference for us!
