Is there any truth to the advice that adding cereal to the last bottle feed at night will help baby sleep longer at night??  Anyone experience this??

Most people would say no it is not true and sleep is training and nothing to do with food. If your baby is ready for solids though introducing cereal would fill up the baby more. Let me know about your solids 'situation'. Solids do not make baby's sleep longer though.

Also, adding solids to a bottle can pose a choking hazard, unless it's done under the guidance of a pediatrician to treat reflux.

We were advised to add cereal to our LOs bottle, because of mild reflux.   I was so excited secretly because I thought NOW he will sleep through the night!    Nope.   Nothing has changed.   I have heard it helps some babies, but apparently not mine.
