Not eating well
« on: October 29, 2005, 20:22:25 pm »
Now dd has discovered how much fun it is to blow out bubbles when having a bottle, instead of sucking.  She does this literally every few swallows.  I have had to actually just give up feeding her, even though it's been 4 hours.  Sometimes she has been fussing for food at 3 hours, but then I feed her and she's blowing bubbles after 2oz.  What is the deal?  I have just started her on rice cereal last week, but she takes maybe 1 tsp. a day, that wouldn't be enough to stunt her appetite would it?

I would think that like most things a lo learns, after the novelty wears off, she'll be back to normal.  My dd is now getting sidetracked at meal times because I have started putting the tray on her highchair.  She's so interested in it that I eventually have to take it off, but then she's to bothered to eat.  It's getting better, though, and I would suppose your situation will as well.
