yes she has also been sleeping sitting up. she sits in the middle of the cot and just wobbles a bit.
i thought i would leave it for a bit and see what she does.
she knows how to lay down, when i come in the room and she is still awake she will sometimes lay down.
i think she wont lay down because she is stubborn! she doesn't want to go to sleep when i am not in the room, so she stands or sits, so when i check on her she can wake. which she does, she just dozes if standing.. but goes a bit deeper when sitting but still not a proper sleep. a couple of times she has lain down herself... but...
last night she grizzled when she woke so i left her and she went quiet. that was at midnight... i woke at 3am (when she used to wake) and i checked on her... she was sitting! was a bit worried she had been like that since midnight.... so i lay her down, she woke then grizzled.
i left and didn't check her again until 6.30am. she was lying down with her legs through the bars, i put a blanket on her and she woke 15min later.
and today (fourth day) i have been trying to get her to sleep all day! it is now 2pm. she has had a 20min nap after she gave up for being soo tired.
she has been grizzling (but not crying) for the last 1/2hour or so. i don't want to go in and set her off!
what is the longest it has taken? i gave in too early last time, and i don't want to undo my work. but i need to go shopping, shall i just go and let her sleep in the car and try again tonight? and she is getting her first meningicoccal b vaccine on friday and i want her definately to be happy and rested then!
any advice would be great!
