Ladies don't hate me here.
Is 4 feeds enough for a 5.5mo exclusively bf baby???
Liam is a very big boy (about 22lb) & almost 5.5 months totally bf & plan to continue for as long as I can before solids!
My dilema is he now seems to regularly sleep 10.5-11.5 hours at night without a feed. (my returns for a 2yo who was a sleep nightmare & now wakes me up cos he talks in his sleep  )
I used to give a 4amish feed then do roughly 8, 11.30, 3.00, 6.30 (first side) bath 7.15pmish second side so I got 5 feeds (or 6 if you take 6 & 7.15pm ish in)
now he is going from 7.30p to sometimes 7am (very lucky me) and does pretty good day naps, again very lucky me.
I just don't think feeding 4 feeds (ok I admit I offer twice within 1/2 hour ie at 7am & 7.30, & usually takes it again) is enough for a very big 5mo esp as mostly in the day he feeds for about 3mins each offering BUT that said the post bath one he feeds for about 1/2hour - often falling asleep on the breast - which I would have said was a problem, but with Liam seems not. the other thing is my breasts feel fuller, but that may be because I am adjusting to him taking 4 bigger feeds.
He is totally happy pretty much all the time & I'm getting 5 decent wet nappies a day & am sure it is ok & what we all dream of in our babies... BUT when he first started doing this ( for 3days) at 4mo he then got sick & it took 4 weeks to get back & I guess I am scared it is a sign of a sick baby that he sleeps so well & much.
