Waking up for dream feed
« on: November 03, 2005, 04:12:46 am »
My daughter is 5 months old.  We have been on BW for a week and a half now.  The past few nights she has started waking up before her dream feed.  I am worried that this is going to enforce the bad habit of falling asleep on the bottle...any suggestions?

Hi

Is she waking up at the same time every night? If she is then you could try giving her the dreamfeed before the time she wakes up - hopefully the full belly will mean she won't wake up at the normal DF time.

If she's already awake then feed her but make sure she's not completely asleep when you put her down in her crib (it's okay if she's drowsy).

love
Marie

THanks.  I will try to make the DF earlier tonight.
