Issues napping in his own bed
« on: November 04, 2005, 20:44:54 pm »
Kaiden has always slept in the livingroom with me. When a week old, it was recommended that he sleep where there was day to day noise in order to make sure he would nopt become an extreamly light sleeper.  This worked really well, he seems to nap well in the livingroom.  The latest thing I have heard is that he should be napping in his crib.  Well this is a huge issue, because he has slept in the living room since he was brought home. (he is 10 weeks now)  I have utilized the Pat/Shhhh, but I literally spend the full 1 1/2 hours in his room doing this. I'ts been a few days and I have finially given up with naps and I have allowed  him back into the living room to nap.  What should I do??

What does he sleep in, in the living room?  A pack and play?  Move whatever he sleeps in into his room so you break this down into gradual steps.  If he's in a swing, you'll have the motion or lack thereof once in his crib to work out too.

He sleeps in his crib at night?  For how long?
