5 month growth spurt?
« on: November 07, 2005, 04:10:24 am »
Just wondering if babies have a growth spurt at 5 months?
Plus if we are on 4 hour EASY and she is going through a growth spurt is it ok to go back and feed her every 3 hours roughly?

The problem has only been the last couple of days where she is now only taking 1-1.5 hr naps instead of her usual 2 -2.5hr naps and i have had no luck extending. Just wondering if this is actually not a sleep problem but a growth spurt.

Hi shem

I read in tracys book that you shouldnt go back to three hours, you need to add more to his bottles, maybe an extra ounce in each.  Also could he be ready for solids?? I have just started my ds on a bit of pear in the morning and for lunch as he too was taking short naps but since starting the solids his naps have returned to normal. Im just working on the 5am wake ups as you know!!
