Spitting up on tummy

I have been doing our tummy time before a feed because she always spits up afterwards.  But she'll try and turn on her tummy after a feed and spit up anyway.  Do your babies spit up on their tummies too?  And do you just deal with it and it goes away, or what?

My ds almost always throws up if I give him tummy time within an hour of when he ate.  As he has just started rolling over, I'm constantly putting him to his back or else I'll have lots of cleaning.  It would be interesting to hear from a mom who's lo is a bit older to see if they grow out of it.

I usually gave Nat some bouncy seat or lap tme for a while. Any other spitup gets wiped as it happens - some days none, some days more (or a LOT more!).

DD is 4 months and started spitting too, even when she is not on her tummy! It seems any more rapid movement triggers it :(

My ds used to always spit up after a feed whether on his front or back but was always worse on his front. He is now 9 months and I can't remember the last time he did it, at least three months ago, I found it improved as he ate more solids and thickened up the contents of his stomach.

Hope this helps
