When to put to sleep
« on: November 08, 2005, 02:54:44 am »
I am trying out the EASY plan...when do I start to put my son down for naps and bed...at the first sign of tiredness (such as the first yawn?).....I saw an episode today on tv and the woman started the feeding, changing process at the first sign.....this confused me!

Thanks for your advise!

i am not sure what show you saw, but on EASY you woudl be putting to bed at the first sign of tiredness (or sooner than that for some temperments like spirited)

Tracy writes about responding at the first yawn and aiming to have them settled by 3rd yawn... (so if you still have to do nappy change it would happen between yawn 1-3 in an ideal situation  :D )

It was the Baby Whisperer program on Discovery Health channel. Maybe it was just the editing they did to the footage.....thanks for the clarification.
