Establishing a night routine with zero activity time

Okay, so it's not quite zero activity time, but by the time my DS has finished his evening feed (which can take upto an hour) he is already showing signs of being tired, so it's time to put him to bed.  We want to start a night time routine, but it seems impossible to do with such a small activity "window".  Any suggestions?

you could try doing his bath right before that last feed.  then afterwards, snuggle a little bit & go off to bed!

I agree...he still seems pretty little? How old is he? Up until about 6 weeks sometimes all they can handle is a bum change for activity time, so don't worry to much about much activity.

He's 5 weeks old today.  So I guess the answer is to wait a couple of weeks before trying to do a night time routine.
