Sleep for a 7 month old
« on: November 08, 2005, 16:49:17 pm »
Hi
Just wondering if anyone can help me.  I have a 7 month old daughter and am breastfeeding her the problem is she wont sleep.  She wakes up every 3-4 hours on a good night and every 30 mins on a bad night.  She only goes to sleep on my breast and will not take a bottle or a soother.  I am exhausted and dont know what to do.  I have tried to leave her crying in her cot but she ends up getting sick and its too upsetting for both of us.  She also will not stay with anyone else other than my husband and even at that its only for 2 hours max.  I would like to be able to raise a happy healty daughter but it doesnt seem to be working for me.  I also have an 8 year old son who was a delight

hi there,

i think we need a little more information from you.  can you post a sample schedule of your day including naps & feeds?

is your lo on solids yet?  has she shown any signs of teething or being sick?  any major life-altering things happen lately - new skills, etc.?
