Weaning and refusing to take bottle
« on: November 08, 2005, 19:45:54 pm »
I have been weaning for about 4 weeks now. He gets two bottles during the day of formula, and one at night. At day care he has totally refused the bottle and the same at home. If he sees it he screams his head off. I have tried different bottles and letting someone else feed him. He will only take to my breasts. He has always in the past taken the bottles. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about his. Please any advise would help. He is 3 1/2 months old.

Weaning and refusing to take bottle

I remember several moms posting about their 3ish month olds suddenly refusing bottles. They'd taken them fine before, and then no more bottles.

Are you trying to nurse at home and do bottles during the day? Or are you trying to wean completely to bottles/formula?
