Restless at nap time
« on: November 09, 2005, 15:02:29 pm »
My 5 month old was going down very easy for naptime.  Now, she rolls and pulls herself up onto her knees and flops down.  Everytime she gets close to sleep, she does it again.  I have tried swaddling her, but she does it with a swaddle.  Am I waiting too long to put her down.  Her A time is usually between 1:45 and 2 hours.

Developmental blips like this are expected. After rolling in the sleep, it'll be sitting up.. then pulling up to stand.. fun fun fun!

During the day, give your little one tons of opportunities to pratice rolling.

Also our magic A time at this age was 2.25, so maybe she just is not tired enough to want to sleep yet.
