My son, Josh, is almost 6 months old.  When I lay him down for a nap he cries when I leave his room.  He's never done this before...is he experiencing separation anxiety?  If so, what should I do?  I've gone in to check on him before but he just cries more when he sees me.  Should I be doing the PU/PD?  Will that work on a 6 month old baby?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
Linda

Things are about the same, but he seems to be settling down faster.  I just made his wind down before naps a little bit longer.  Thanks for replying.
