Giggling preventing her to nap longer
« on: November 10, 2005, 10:03:22 am »
My DD has learnt a new giggle and wiggling up her cot, she laughs and then it goes right high pitched.  It is stopping her from getting long naps now.  At the 45 min mark she wakes and practice her giggling, and wiggling up her cot, that now has me putting her dummy in to stop her giggling, and repositioning her in her cot.  When will this end?

hi,
Jake does this sort of thing, except he saves his high pitched scream for 4 am!
I have consulted my BW book, and have transitioned Jake onto a 4 hr E.A.S.Y, which extends their awake time, and therefore their naps too.
This has been working a treat to extend naps, where mostly he is quiet(although its all gone wrong today!)
You may have already done this as you LO is older than mine, but thought it was worth saying. :)

My DD is on a 3.5hr easy as she can't stay awake to long, but as soon as she can stay awake alot longer I will be on the 4hr EASY.  She has good 2hrs nap around midday.

well good luck, I'm glad to know its not just because he's a little man that he's so noisy!
