Hi!  Does anyone know when a child is thirsty?  I bf my 3 month old - but df formula.... he has been waking up a few times a night (he usually only woke up once - and with paci back to sleep until wake up) ... paci doesn't always seem to be enough.... could he be thirsty?  Should I try a little water?

He may be hungry, they go through a grow spurt around that age. Also, they will wake for developmental milestones, when they are getting ready to roll over, and later crawl, walk, talk, etc

A baby does not need anything but your breastmilk until 6 months of age. No water.

Thanks.  I will try to feed him to see how much he will eat; actually I noticed that he has been starting to lift his legs to the side when on his back?!

Yep, make sure you don't leave him up on the changing pad or anywhere he can roll off of. The first time is always kind of  , like "did he really do that?"
