still not sleeping enough (1 year old)

Hello all-  I need help PLEASE!!  My ds has been getting up extremely early and here's what I've tried.   We tried an earlier bedtime this week.  (7:00 instead of 7:30)  For two days it seemed like it might work.  Day 1 he woke up at 5:45 and day 2 he woke up at 5:30.  Trust me, this is great compared to 4:15-4:30!  Well then on day 3 he work up at 4:30 screaming, couldn't be consoled for 30 minutes!  He then proceeded to take three 30 minute nap throughout the day. Today he woke up at 4:10.  I was able to get him back to sleep but only for about 40 minutes.

He is getting two teeth.  Could the teething be causing all these sleeping problems?  This has been going on for about three weeks now and we're all VERY tired!

I would love any suggestions.  thanks!!

teeth are causing similar probs in this house too!!!!

DD won't eat when teething so sometimes she wakes in the night hungry. If she's woken between 4 and 6 we sometimes give her an extra bottle then and it sometimes works.

I also try and take her out as much as I can in the day to wear her out. Also getting out can save your sanity from the whining from teething pain and tiredness!!

I'm sure it is the teeth.  Does he have his molars or eyeteeth yet?  Those caused some major sleep disturbances around here.  Have you tried any pain meds before bed?

Just stay consistent and he will be back on track in no time!
