How to stay on 4 hour EASY?

I don't get it - how do you stay on 4 hour EASY if DD is up for over 2 hours (only just - about 2.15) but then sleeps 2 hours - this goes over the 4 hours?

Do i shorten the sleep time?

Do i just feed her over the 4 hour mark?

As babies get older they are awake more so I am a little confused on how to stay on the EASY plan.

i would just feed when she gets up. many babies don't take 2hr naps +/or A time varies.  you may find her naps shorten a bit as her awareness grows or you may be very lucky and have 2hr naps for a long time... unless the naps get so long that she is going 4 1/2 - 5 hrs between feeds i woudl not worry too much ...

also when they are older babies drop milk feeds and there is more of a juggling with milk, solids and nap times - you move beyond 4 hr EASY to a bkfst/lunch/dinner scenario...

so what happens if she has 2.5 hours awake and then 2 hours asleep - should I only let her sleep 1.5 hours or do I feed 4.5 hrs?
