Waking due to cold?
« on: November 14, 2005, 23:13:23 pm »
We put DD to bed in footie Pjs and at that time the house is almost always 70 degrees or warmer.  We set the heater to come on at 70 degrees, but it seems like DD arms get cold in the middle of the night.  I know this doesn't make sense, but before I get too depressed about the nightwaking, I want to make sure it's not due to cold.  What am I supposed to do though?  I can't put her in a super warm sleeper when I put her down because then she'll be too hot, and changing her whole outfit will surely wake her up.  Anyone else have this problem?

Waking due to cold?

Mads also wakes up on occassions with cold hands and feet and on those occassions it is not uncommon for her to wake or be restless. So she now sleeps in a vest and a sleepysuit, which covers her feet and then under a cover or in a grobag - which help to keep her snug.

HTH!
