dropped nap, and waking up with screaming fits
« on: November 15, 2005, 09:10:42 am »
I know it's cuz ds is too tired. He's in transition between nap and no nap, and refuses to nap. He's been falling asleep around 6:30, but wake up time's been getting earlier too, so he isn't getting enough sleep. He used to wake up happily calling us and talking. now he is so cranky in the morning, and he started waking at night, with bouts of screaming. I know it's cuz he's tired that he can't sleep well at night, but i don't know what to do.

Have you tried to implement a quiet time to replace his naptime?  Even though he might not sleep, it still gives him an opportunity for some down time.  I know that this has worked well for some people.
