my 6 week old was doing fine until a week ago. she used to feed every 2.5-3 hours, even at night.  then a week ago, something strange happened, she started to cluster feed all by herself for three days in a row, and slept 5 hours at night!!!! then all of a sudden she stopped, and started feeding every two hours and sleep 4 hours at night.... does anyone know what happened to bring on this change?? :shock:

That sounds like your 6-week growth spurt.  Just try to get more calories in throughout the day, and hopefully the feeds will stretch back out at night.

Definitely a growth spurt. It won't last forever, in a coule of days your baby will be back to normal and your supply will increase to meet her increased demand.
